This week will be a
pretty short update on my take on marriage now that we have been married two
months, I must be an expert by now right. I will say now it’s starting to feel
much more regular and normal now and like it’s always been this way.
What makes me laugh
is how some days the littlest things that don’t truly matter are the things
that drive me insane. That’s always happened to me because I can be a little
nuts some times, but now it seems to bubble up more and I can now just let them
go.
I’ve heard that
once you pick a side of the bed it never changes. Well when I fixed the bed the
first time at the house I put us on the wrong sides and we both found it
annoying but stuck it out because we are creatures of habit. As we thought
about it we were both on the opposite side that we have always slept on in our
own beds and of the sides we slept on together during the honeymoon. And we had
a difficult time staying on our own sides of the bed and not on top of the
other in the middle of the night. So last week after waking up in the night
with his arm on my face I decided it was time to switch. Two months of being
married and finally we are on the right sides of the bed and I’ve slept so well
since then. So it is true once you have a side of the bed you are going to want
to keep it forever.
Marriage though is
treating us well. I couldn't image falling asleep next to anyone other than my
sweet hubby no matter what side of the bed it’s on. Having someone you can
count on and hang out with no matter the situation is just a great great thing. Having someone who appreciates all the work you do for them and makes sure you know how they feel about you, is awesome. Marriage is tough but I would never go back to before I was married.
This weekend we got
our wedding pictures back! I would like
to share a few with you.
