Taco Loaf

Hubby saw a similar recipe to this on reddit and decided to make it his own. We call it Taco Loaf and it turned out pretty darn good. Here it is for you to play with. You could add anything you want into it it, salsa, guacamole, onions cooked or raw, peppers anything really.

You'll need all of this plus a pound of ground beef, and taco seasoning if you want it

Shredded cheddar, Spanish Rice, 2 cans of croissants, and Refried beans

Season beef to your liking or use a taco seasoning. Drain the crease when done cooking.

Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.

Lay the first croissant, after pinching the seams together, layer in the beef, beans, and rice (cheese if you want)

Cover with the second croissant, pinching seams and sides together.

Bake as the croissant can directed.

When done sprinkle cheese on top and put back in the oven turned off for a couple minutes until melted.

Slice and serve warm. It is quite delicious. We over stuffed ours a bit but it still turned out fine. It would be really nice to do in thinner layers then cut into smaller squares and serve at a football party or as a finger food.
