I love making cupcakes just about as much as I enjoying eating them. Vanilla is one of the hardest to make with the right consistency and flavor. This recipe comes right up there with the best.

Fresh Green Beans
A couple weeks ago I
went to the Conway Farmers Market, and came out with some great looking green
beans! I wasn’t completely sure wit what they would go in but for $3 I could
not pass them up.
Here is what I did with them.
First I cleaned them up. I washed them to get off all the
dirt and germs. Cut the ends off. I
tried to make sure they were all about the same size.

Married Monday Review: Sacred Marriage By: Gary Thomas
“What if God designed marriage to make us holy more than to make us happy?” The subtitle to the book sums up the main theme and point that Gary is making throughout the book. It’s a big thought: we don’t get married to be happy, marriage is meant to bring us closer to God.

#TBT -McDonald’s Style
McDonald’s is the center of many memories for me. My sister and I ate more Happy Meals than I can count. We loved them and always knew exactly what we wanted, she would go for the McNuggets and I would have a cheeseburger. We didn’t have all the healthy options kids do now, but we didn’t want them anyway, McDonald’s fries were and still are the very best, in my opinion.
During the summers our Papa would watch us, and we would go
to the park next to the local library to fish. This park was also a short
walking distance from McDonald’s. I can remember getting our food and sitting at
one of the picnic tables and eating while we took a break from fishing. These are my favorite memories.

Conway Farmers Market
Farmers markets are such wonderful places, full of nice
people and good food. They are a way to support local farmers while getting
some of the freshest foods. I have been trying to be more conscious of where my
food comes from lately, both while eating out and when preparing my own meals.
I knew that to get the best local produce I needed to head to Conway Farmer’s
Market.

Lava Cakes for Two
I have always thought that lava cakes were difficult to
make, but I decided I would attempt them for our anniversary last weekend. It
turns out they are actually really easy! These turned out delicious and only
took about 20 minutes.

Married Monday: Marriage Bible Verses, Proverbs 12:4 and 18:22
The Bible is my favorite book, even though a lot of it I don’t
understand without re reading it a few times and going to look up some meanings
behind it. I think that’s perfectly fine though because there is a lot of
important information and lessons in there that can help and serve as a guideline
for life. Any part of life you need help with, guidance on, or reflection the
Bible has it covered, if you take the time to read into it and between the
lines. Marriage is covered throughout the Bible often and in many ways, today I
want to look at two verses that celebrate marriage, and give me something to
strive for as a wife.

I'm Married!!!??!! One Year Later
I can hardly believe that we have been married a year, it
doesn’t even seem possible. I feel like we just said I do! About a year ago I wrote this post, after we had gotten back from the
honeymoon and settled in to our new home and roles. So today I want to share
some reflections and thoughts from the year.
It has been the most exciting, emotional, scary, and best
year of my life. Marriage is not for the faint of the heart and it is something
that you don’t truly understand until you’re there. I have loved every moment and wouldn’t trade
it for the world.

Apple Pie Roses
Hubby loves a great apple pie, and I like to make them for
him, they take a lot of time and work though. That’s why I opt for smaller
versions, like these Apple Pie Eggrolls I made a while back, and now I have
found this new twist. These roses are made using apples and crescent roll
dough, simple and perfect!

Married Monday: Anniversary Gift Themes
Since Saturday is mine and hubby’s 1 year anniversary I
thought it would be fun to look at what the traditional gifts and themes are
for each year of marriage. Some of these are very well known others are not so
common.
