Creamy Fettuccine One Pot Dish

One Pot Fettuccine, 20 minutes and quick clean up.

One of Hubby’s favorite Italian dishes is fettuccine and while it is not my favorite I try to find recipes that I enjoy so we can have it for dinner. Well this one is amazing, I would eat it every night and it is sooo easy!  Plus since it is in one pot then the cleanup is quick.
You will need:
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth or water
1 cup milk, plus extra as needed
2 tbsp butter
8 ounces uncooked fettuccine
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

First heat the oil and add the garlic to it and cook until it is fragrant. Add in the broth, milk and pasta. Bring to a boil then turn heat down and let simmer for 18 minutes.

When the noodles are done and the liquid has reduced and thickened up some (looks like above picture), its time to add in the Parmesan. If it is still a bit liquidy for you then add in some more cheese. If it is too thick add in more milk.

You can add in some grilled chicken if you’d like to make a more complete meal. Serve it with some bread and you are good to go.

  3. Looks great! I have a one-pot fettucine dish that I make with chicken and broccoli. From what I can recall, it is very similar. Your post has reminded me that it has been a while since I've made fettuccine...going to have to fix that!
